About this release
Version 4.5.1 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac fixes two critical issues that could occur with previous versions.
No restart of the PC is required after installing this update.
The update to this version is recommended for all users of DRACOON for Windows/Mac.
Bug fixes
The following problems have been fixed in version 4.5.1 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac:
These problems only occurred in specific cases, e.g. under certain exceptional circumstances. The vast majority of users were not affected.
- After a failed synchronization, in very rare cases a file might become corrupted.
SDS-1184 BUG - For paths longer than 260 characters, synchronization and write access problems could occur if the registry value that enables long path names in Windows 10 was not set. This problem occurred only if DRACOON for Windows was already installed for several months, because the required registry value was set during installation in recent versions of DRACOON for Windows, but not in earlier versions.
