About this release

Version 4.12.3 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac includes performance improvements and fixes for issues that could occur with previous versions.

No restart of the PC is required after installing this update.

The update to this version is recommended for all users of DRACOON for Windows/Mac.

Improvements

Version 4.12.3 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac offers improved performance and lower CPU load due to the following optimizations:

• When creating an index in the background, folder contents are now only checked for changes if the folder in question had already been opened previously.
  This significantly reduces system load, especially after a drive connection has been established for the first time, since no longer the contents of all data rooms and folders are checked.
• Removing files from the local cache is more efficient.

Bug fixes

The following problems have been fixed in version 4.12.3 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac:

These problems only occurred in specific cases, e.g. under certain exceptional circumstances. The vast majority of users were not affected.

• The autostart of DRACOON for Windows did not work in rare cases.  SDS-1426 BUG
• A connection attempt of DRACOON for Mac could fail with the error message "Server connection was interrupted".  SDS-1431 BUG
